Beskrivelse af sprogkursus

The intensive English C1 course helps you develop English skills at a near native speaker level. The C1.1 and C1.2 levels you’ll reach can be used for daily life, work, or to pass an English exam. Your instructor systematically increases your vocabulary using interesting text excerpts that help your language learning. Your teacher also familiarizes you with complex English syntax, stylistic devices, elevated expressions, and idiomatic sayings from the expansive anglophone world and its rich cultural traditions. Understand spontaneous English language, respond to it, and use it effortlessly. Utilize professional and literary language just as masterfully. In addition to this course content, LcL Language Lab* offers the unique opportunity of using your headphones to fine-tune your pronunciation, word stress, and intonation to the level of a near native speaker. *Online participation is also possible on request. In the case of online course participation, the phonetics units in the LcL language laboratory are omitted.

LcL Language Institute ligger i hjertet af Vienna og er en af de mest populære skoler i Østrig. Skolen specialiserer sig i undervisning af Engelsk til udenlandske elever som dig. In one of the most beautiful streets of the 7th district in Vienna.

The top renovated rooms of our old Viennese Biedermeier house from 1695 offer a comfortable and modern atmosphere to help you focus on your learning. Our offices contain five classrooms, each about 10 to 25 square meters. Every classroom is furnished with easy-to-move desks and chairs, as well as a cloakroom. On sunny days, our picturesque courtyard is also available for lessons outside. Our language institute is on the ground floor. The building itself is under monument protection, it is one of the oldest houses of Vienna. Right around the corner from the school, you will find numerous cafés, restaurants and bars as well as museums, theaters and cinemas.

Underground: U3 (Volkstheater or Neubaugasse), starting Autumn 2023: U2 and U3 (Volkstheater or Neubaugasse)
Buses: 48A (St Ulrichs Platz or Kellermanngasse) or 13A (Neubaugasse/Westbahnstraße or Burggasse/Neubaugasse)
Tram: 49 (Stiftgasse or Volkstheater
If you're traveling by car, the Contipark Garage Museumsquartier or the Payuca Garage Kirchberggasse are available for a parking fee.

The stops and parking garages listed above are at most a five-minute walk from our facilities.

"I had a good experience and improved my language skills during my time there."

The location is practical and accessible. The facilities are new and some are still being renovated/improved. Some equipment such as headphones and microphones were not fully set up and were used on the last day of class. The instructor was really good, spoke clearly and explained things well. The setup of the classes was good. Ideally, it would be great to switch up class activities and make them a bit more dynamic so that it’s not as repetitive over time (such as creating dialogues or conversations). The staff is friendly and helpful, and I appreciated that they provided us with water for every class. Overall I had a very good experience. While there are things still being set up or renovated, I think this institute already has great potential for being a good resource for language learning.
