Beskrivelse af sprogkursus

The intensive French course for A2 helps you take steps to develop foundational French skills at levels A2.1 and A2.2 with the four modules reading, listening, speaking, and writing. Understand how to navigate daily life, professional situations, and leisure time. Get to know the intercultural context of the francophone world and become increasingly independent in your use of the French language. Improve your spoken French in the modern LcL Language Lab. These practice sessions can help you, for example, impress your friends and colleagues with your accent-free French or pass language exams you need for school, studies, or your next vacation. Online participation is also available by request*.

Overview of language content in French A2.1 + French A2.2

- Practice basic language acts, such as talking about yourself, work, and health

- Use more advanced vocabulary and grammar, understand and form connected sentences

- Talk about everyday topics in familiar situations, e.g., family

- Write official and personal notes or short letters

- Immerse yourself in language culture and practice Phonetics in the LcL Language Lab

In one of the most beautiful streets of the 7th district in Vienna.

The top renovated rooms of our old Viennese Biedermeier house from 1695 offer a comfortable and modern atmosphere to help you focus on your learning. Our offices contain five classrooms, each about 10 to 25 square meters. Every classroom is furnished with easy-to-move desks and chairs, as well as a cloakroom. On sunny days, our picturesque courtyard is also available for lessons outside. Our language institute is on the ground floor. The building itself is under monument protection, it is one of the oldest houses of Vienna. Right around the corner from the school, you will find numerous cafés, restaurants and bars as well as museums, theaters and cinemas.

Buses: 48A (St Ulrichs Platz or Kellermanngasse) or 13A (Neubaugasse/Westbahnstraße or Burggasse/Neubaugasse)

If you're traveling by car, the Contipark Garage Museumsquartier or the Payuca Garage Kirchberggasse are available for a parking fee.

The stops and parking garages listed above are at most a five-minute walk from our facilities.

"I had a good experience and improved my language skills during my time there."

The location is practical and accessible. The facilities are new and some are still being renovated/improved. Some equipment such as headphones and microphones were not fully set up and were used on the last day of class. The instructor was really good, spoke clearly and explained things well. The setup of the classes was good. Ideally, it would be great to switch up class activities and make them a bit more dynamic so that it’s not as repetitive over time (such as creating dialogues or conversations). The staff is friendly and helpful, and I appreciated that they provided us with water for every class. Overall I had a very good experience. While there are things still being set up or renovated, I think this institute already has great potential for being a good resource for language learning.
