Ukrainian intensive individual (one-to-one)

My weeklong stay at Amigos Language School to learn Russian was very pleasant and improved my language skills. We were two students with a young, cheerful and engaged teacher. She never ended the lesson before its official finishing time but gave us manageable homework. Though the school is a bit hidden, I very much liked the small classes, the teachers and their style.
I would like to come back to Amigos Language School next year.

First thing to mention is that the language school is located on the other side of the house and you can find a map on the website.

I really liked my classes, although I signed up for groups from 2 to 5, I mostly got private classes with Polina. She was very careful and teached me whatever I had to be teached. She corrected my homework and chose the exercises based on my weaknesses.

I would recommend to stay at a random hostel you choose by yourself, so as I did. Because even though I had private lessons, I still got the possibility to interact with others at the hostel.

The amigos language school is a pretty good way to improve your skills!

It is not a study center, but just a small space in poor condition. There is no indication of the existence of a school and the neighbors did not know about this school either.

In three weeks, only one other student showed up occasionally, so there was no exchange or social activities or cultural immersion. Really, in the end, I just received private lessons. But the teacher was nice and did his job well.

The people there were very nice and I learned many things I did not know before. The housing is not the best, but it was not cold there and it was cleaned.

Kind teachers, well prepared lessons, good quality.

Anna, the teacher, was exceptional and made class an enjoyable educational experience. The location was conveniently accessible near a metro stop. My only suggestion for improvement is to get new desks for the classroom.

I studied at the Amigos Spanish School. During the study of language the school organized regular outings, informal meetings at which I was able to talk the other students, in native English and Spanish! After the course, I not only learned the Spanish language, but also found a lot of friends!

-Classes: The classes have been very well designed and evolve at the perfect speed and perfect the number of students per class
-Teachers: Highest level teachers who teach fantastically well, creating for us a great work environment
-Location: Good communication in public transport
-Activities: I like that they taught us the language, the local customs, and curiosities of the country.

The language school has an excellent location, between the University and the Central Station, very close to Tarasa Shevchenko Blvd.
Our Russian teacher was very communicative and passionate about her job. Also her English skills were magnificent, so she could help us out when we got "lost in translation". ;-) In the classes, the main focus was put into basic grammar and pronunciation.
There were also lots of social activities organised (bowling, drinks, picnic), and we got plenty of chances for using our recently acquired knowledge and make friends. The atmosphere was very laid back! Learning Russian in Amigos was definitely a great experience for me.

Generally speaking it was a very good experience. I did an intensive course and my language skills had improved quite a lot I think. Teachers are well prepared and atmosphere with them and with other students is fine. About location, facilities and so on, I think they are adequate.

Simply perfect. Since I arrived in Kiev, Amigos' staff helped me with any single detail making my stay really comfortable and productive. The school fits 100% with the description showed in internet, friendly and efficient, with a high qualified staff that ensures a very familiar environment. My level of Russian has improved as never before after these four weeks of intensive course. I strongly recommend it.

I enjoyed very much my time with the personnel of Amigos Language School. From the first moment, they helped me, from when I arrived in Kiev until we said goodbye at the airport. Even though I had a tight spot with an accommodation that I booked by myself, my teacher helped me in a nice way. So on the personnel side, they were friendly, reliable and were a great support when I needed it.

With regards to the classes, they were a perfect mix of fun moments and serious methodology. I feel that I made a step more in my Russian language thanks to those classes. I only regret that I didn't spend more days there. Anna is a very good teacher.

In summary, I recommend this place for study very much.
